The standout moment was when Sr. Raul, the owner, graciously arranged snacks and dinner for my family and me after an unexpected delay, ensuring we felt welcomed even after our long journey. The rustic charm of the hotel, featuring salt-cut bricks, created a cozy ambiance which was ideal after a full day of exploring. Breakfast was a delightful experience, with a focus on fresh and hearty options, although I had to charm my way into getting a couple of fried eggs-it's the little victories that count! The staff maintained a friendly vibe throughout our stay, and their attention to detail made all the difference. The rooms were equipped with all the essentials, including a private bathroom and cozy heating-a blessing during the chilly Uyuni nights. If you are looking for a place that offers not just a bed but an experience infused with genuine Bolivian hospitality, Hotel Kachi is the spot. With the owner's personal touch, this hotel felt like a home away from home for my family and me, and I can't wait to return for more adventures in beautiful Bolivia!
